The course aims to provide the fundamental notions for cataloging and interpretation of the archaeological data identified with direct and systematic exploration of the territory.

Methods of study for the land analysis; use of topographic and cadastral maps; methods of analysis and cataloging of archaeological evidence from survey; use of databases and GIS.

ex cathedra teaching; practical exercises in the laboratory

Oral exam. The student will be evaluated according to the knowledge of the main issues addressed during the course; it will take account of the results achieved with exercises. Ability to teamwork
