Teaching description
A command of the English Language corrisponding to at least level B1 of the CEFR.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to use the main lexical and grammatical structures of the English language at a B2+level. S/he will also be able to grasp the meaning of different types of texts, e.g. academic and the social sciences.
In itinere written text on grammar and lexis + oral examination on a topic chosen by the student together with the Professor.

Students who are not able to attend the course will have to study the aforementioned grammar contents + a scientific article which is made available at the following link (https://www.allea.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Swaan_English_Social.pdf). Students will be assessed on the basis of communicative interaction, understanding and grammar accuracy.
